In his academic career, Crockett Marr has worked with aspiring students from fifty US states and over fifty countries as well as the top high schools in the world. Today, Marr is recognized as a leading interpreter of the American higher education experience. Drawing from Marr's decade of experience as a domestic and international admission dean at a highly selective US college, Marr Education International provides insight, guidance, and consultation in the field of selective and highly selective college and university admission.

Alongside his academic service, Marr is a scholar of Classical languages, a competitive squash player, and an international skier and mountaineer.

Miranda Leong-Hussey

Miranda Leong-Hussey graduated from Bard High School Early College in New York City with an associate’s degree and completed her bachelor’s degree at Reed College in three years. At Reed, Miranda studied political science, publishing original research on early education policy and universal pre-school.


Miranda possesses three years of professional admission experience in addition to three years as an admission student intern and tour guide. In her current role, Miranda helps students effectively manage their time and tasks as they relate to personal and intellectual growth and - of course - college admission.


An avid cook, baker, hiker, and traveler, Miranda resides part-time in New York City and part-time wherever her Sprinter van rolls to a stop.
